Pristine Panem | The Dust Town

The arena for the 19th Annual Hunger Games was set in the ruins of a bombed-out town in the outskirts of District Eight. Once a small community, it had been reduced to a landscape of shattered masonry, collapsed homes. Mountains of rubble overlayed the grounds, paired with the skeletal remains of shops and houses. Every surface was coated in layers of soot, ash, and grime, giving the arena a bleak, lifeless appearance. Beyond the town’s edge stretched a ring of charred woodland, where scorched trees offered minimal protection and the forest floor was covered in cinders. Victor: Dewie Turner [District 11]
