Beyond the Barrier

The Zone has seen Monolith raids before. This is different. For reasons nobody can explain, Monolith forces have begun appearing across the Zone in massive numbers. Patrols report seeing entire columns of fanatics moving through territories that should be impossible for them to reach. Worse still, they're carrying equipment that doesn't make sense. Gear that should be far beyond the reach of a faction supposedly cut off from the rest of the world. Nobody knows where it's coming from. Duty and the Military have put aside their differences and declared a joint campaign against the growing threat. Mercenaries are present, but indifferent to the situation. Freedom wasn't so lucky. After failing to hold the Barrier and losing control of the Army Warehouses, the faction has been pushed to the brink. While still hostile to Duty, Freedom fighters have begun working alongside Ecologists operating from a mobile research bunker in an effort to uncover what's happening before it's too late.
