Backpacker 1.4 In backpacker, you just run around backpacking and touch heads for money, or alternatively, go into the backpacker pens and click the backpackers for money. To buy different colors for your backpacker head / sack, you can touch the blocks next to the signs to exchange your cash for a random color. Same thing for hats. To upgrade your skills, you need skillpoints. To get skillpoints, you can level up (you can check your level on the bar at the top left of the screen). When upgrading, your current level is on the left side of the buy button, and the price for the next level is on the right side.
