Kaunas Airport [KUN]

Kaunas Airport (KUN) is Lithuania's second-largest airport and the fourth busiest in the Baltic States. It is conveniently located in the centre of the country, just 14 km from downtown Kaunas. Key features include: Low-cost carrier hub: The airport is primarily served by Ryanair and Wizz Air, offering direct connections to dozens of cities across Europe. Modern expansion: A major terminal expansion was completed in late 2025, doubling its annual passenger capacity to 2 million. A new multi-storey car park is also in the pipeline. Growing traffic and new routes: Passenger numbers are on the rise, with a record 1.6 million travellers expected in 2025. Starting in spring 2026, airBaltic will launch direct flights to Riga. MRO centre: The airport hosts large-scale aircraft maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facilities, including hangars operated by Ryanair and FL Technics.
