Description (written by the developer; not a statement by this register)
October 27, 1962. A Soviet bomber carrying a nuclear device has stopped answering Moscow. It's course is New York. You are Anatoly Dobrynin, the Soviet Ambassador in Washington. Moscow has lost control of the aircraft. Only the United States can stop it, and you have ten minutes to make them believe you. Three telephones. A desk of classified files. An automated exchange designed to turn callers away. Earn your credentials, work the switchboard, verify what you know, and reach the President before the clock runs out, without letting a rescue look like a first strike. Growth history is still building. We hold one measurement for this entry. A trend needs at least two, taken days apart — so this will fill in on its own rather than being estimated. We do not publish numbers we have not measured.
