Formerly a productive mining colony of a weak mis-begotten faction of spacefaring terrans. Inevitably, its growing prosperity drew the attention of the myriad of Durakarian raiders and slavers, who promptly sacked the backwater world and put almost the entirety of its population in cages or to the sword. Furthermore, the planet became a staging ground for further Durakarian incursions into neighboring systems. The terrans that remained, hid in isolated holdouts scattered across the planet. Longing for the opportunity to drive the Durakarians off moltarius and back into the very same strange "rifts" they swarmed from.
