Ossus is a place where jedi had been training since after the force wars on Lehon. After the collapse of the jedi order the hidden jedi begun to train and salvage at one base that they rebuilt. Those who thought the force was a myth had come here and changed there mind. The force was everywhere here. Eventually the jedi would leave this base for raiding tatooine.
