Helsinki Island Quarantine - 2nd Era

(RP game.) Date (Human calendar): 3514\05\17 At one point on TARC-2, an unknown vessel exited the atmosphere. Although it was detected by the orbiting fleets, their weapons fire missed; the object was tracked until it disappeared somewhere near the planet Helsinki. Afterwards, reports from Wyonic and Mityoid commands alike noted that an island Mityoid town on the planet had been destroyed in some sort of fire; it then started to rain, and has not stopped since. As rain on Helsinki is quite rare, the occurrence has been met with swift response, and a large research base has been constructed at the entrance of the town. Scouting teams are occasionally deployed into the ruins, but they haven't found much yet...
