S.S. Washington Museum

This is the museum of Horizon Star Lines's first liner, the S.S. Washington. -The Washington was built in 1896 in New York, and started her life alongside the ships of the Horizon Star Line in the late 1800s. She did trans-Atlantic routes from Savannah to Liverpool, and in 1908 she was taken off of trans-Atlantic service due to the launch of the new S.S. Atlanta. -On her first voyage up the coast of the United States to Baltimore, she went off course, and on September 7, 1908, she struck a rock and sank three miles from the coast. This game serves as a memory of our first liner. -This game is used for voyages annually on August 16 of every year as the anniversary of the Horizon Star Line.
