Alzar was a planet located in the Thanium sector of the Outer Rim Territories. Engulfed by the Empire in 20 BBY at the beginning of the Imperial Regime. Rebel sympathizers now look to this planet seeing rebels arise to test the strength and dominance of the Empire. Upon discovery of the strange glowing valley the empire has begun to investigate ways that the plant could be used in the creation of fast acting medicine. The rebels having suffered a lot of losses also have use for this and so a battle has ensued. This base soon was used to house the main land base for the Empire.
