Andrew & Fiske Co. British South Africa, 1876 ________________ Originally a less than profitable farmstead,the property was purchased by Andrews & Fiske Co. and built up as a trading post, which could be self sustainable, for a permanent staff; and an excellent rest stop for both merchants and travellers through the region. The trading post is profitable for the company, but is also in unfortunate proximity to contested regions of South Africa between both the British and the Zulu tribes.
