Somewhere here, this strategic stronghold meant for maintaining control of the region, so that the Romans may continue to supply their army with very important resources for war. It is imperative that the Emperor's army continues to reap in the taxes, food, horses, and of course manpower from this region. If the enemies capture this fort, it will surely strain the Romans of key resources, and this may lead to the demise of the Empire. The Greek mainland is not as plentiful as Anatolia, so it is crucial that the Romans maintain their authority of Anatolia. Or else the Roman Empire as we know it, will finally meet its end, due to the lack of able-bodied men, and loss of abundant resources.
