Welcome to Wasteland, a futuristic survival game that takes place in the city Hopeville, a city created by the United States Government in order to store Intercontinental Ballistic Missiles secretly as a strategic advantage during the event of Nuclear War. The city of Hopeville was left nearly untouched by the devastating Atomic Bombs Due to the United States effort to keep the entire city in complete secrecy. On January 8th, 2048, when the Atomic fires rained unto the globe. The world people came to know, was nothing more than a fire ball with the invisible fires of radiation that scorched the lands. Following the war, major cities were left in ruins, entire countries destroyed. What was left of humanity hangs onto life desperately trying to survive. Welcome Home
