Current magic spells: Godly Light Fireball Lightning Flash Current weapons: Sword To get shards, you have to complete challenges or quests around the island(s). You can also just wander around the town and catch vermin like rats for a quick reward of shards! Shards can be used to get housing, refreshments, pets (that are purely aesthetic), and weapons. If you get your hunger and thirst filled, you will receive stat boosts, however, it isn't required, so if you would rather just fight monsters using magic, you can. If you want to throw weapons into the mix, you can. If you don't like fighting, then you don't have to. You can relax on the beach, wander around the town, catch vermin, hang out at cafes, rent a house, and hang out with other players! The choice is up to you as the player!
