𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐝 𝟕, 𝐀𝐫𝐤𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐬𝐤 𝐎𝐛𝐥𝐚𝐬𝐭 Situated on the coast of the Northern Dvina River within the Arkhangelsk Oblast, Russia, Compound 7 had been redesignated from the Anthrax facility in Sverdlovsk due to security concerns with prior leaks. Externally protected by Biopreparat, Russian Army, and MVD internal troops, Compound 7 has had no containment or other security breach since its construction.
