𝗟𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗶 𝗟𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗼𝗻 "He who commands the seas commands everything." ~ Themistocles The Limani Lechaion is home to the principal port, connected to the city with a set of long walls of about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) length, and was the main trading station for Italy and Sicily, where there were many Corinthian colonies, while Cenchreae served the commerce with the Eastern Mediterranean.
