After the fall of the Sanada Shogunate, central authority almost entirely fell in the Imagawa's hands after seizing the capital. In rebellion, the country side was raided by opposing clans. Lord Yoshimoto dispatched an army of 30,000 soldiers to reinforce the riverside crossing. A once calm river, has now become a raging battlefield.
