"Fear denies faith." Archangel is the Republic's sword - the latest installment in the extensive Avian fleet. The Archangel is a tactical-size, slipspace-capable troop carrier frigate. The ship is highly maneuverable and capable of deploying personnel at distance, from orbit, and in atmosphere. It utilizes a revamped version of the Republic's traditional pod-based deployment system. Pods are armored and shielded, eliminating most of the logistical concerns pertaining enemy ground-to-space fire. They can be remotely reclaimed in most cases. Enemies of the Republic will be unable to interfere with the deployment of our forces until our boots tread on their soil. The Archangel can deploy up to 84 Avians at once, not including pod reserves. A limited amount of new pods can be printed from Nanite reserves onboard.
