Totomi Castle is a small fortification based upon a tall hill in the lowland mountains, surrounding by valley. The castle was built upon sturdy ground, and will remain there until the day it is burned to ash. The lords of the Ii clan have decided to build the castle in the center of the Totomi province as a last means of protection against foreign invaders that seek the prosperity and beauty of the land.
