The Battle of Adwa was a legendary battle that took place in 1896. The prestigious Italian army numbering in the tens of thousands was ambushed in the mountains at Adwa, by a mighty Ethiopian force numbering a hundred thousand strong. The small Italian force in comparison was shockingly destroyed by the Ethiopian warriors in a battle that lasted less than a day, thus cementing Ethiopian independence for the future and inspiring dozens of African independence movements. Will you side with the Ethiopian freedom fighters, or the encroaching Italian menace?
