Battle of Osawatomie, 1856 (SNOW)

Again, the violence in the Kansas Territory, controlled by the United States explodes between different groups. The town of Osawatomie had been a settlement for John Brown's men, regaining force after an exhausting raid of nearby enemy settlements. The "Border War" as it was called had been all about revenge, attacking each other after a bloody battle before. This time, the "Border Ruffians" as they were called came to John Brown, and to Osawatomie, greatly outnumbering his force by sheer numbers of force and weapons. It would set the stage for a bloody encounterment.
