Therion Fusion Research Laboratory is a fusion research facility located in Lakeland, serving as the successor to the former Mariana Fusion Research Center. Operated by the United States Department of Energy and home to the Office of Science, the facility showcases advancements made since 2025 in fusion energy research and technology. This experience is currently a Public Alpha and remains in active development. Which means meltdown /or thermal runaway is not possible, startup only.
