For nigh on three months, the Local Defense Corps of Chancellor Harbor had held firm against the Confederacy's XVI Corps. However, in a daring move, the Vyprian 8th Siege Corps managed to uproot the staunch defenders of the metropolis and push them clear to the outskirts of the town.
