Sterkenburg was the seat of an ancient civilization that predates The Ravenheart Kingdom. This civilization was predominately subterranean and responsible for the construction of multiple cities beneath the land. They had only one above-ground structure to anyone's knowledge: the Sterkenburg Ruins near Fortress Ravenheart. They spent their time underground in fear of ancient creatures and the wrath of the elements scouring the land.
