In the spring of 1997, the air base was established as an air force unit and the most important task of Ämari Air Base is to receive Allied aircraft in peacetime, crisis and wartime and to organize all aviation activities in the Estonian Defense Forces. The existence of an air base is essential for Estonia, because Estonia must be ready to act as a host nation. You can enlist in the air force by joining our communications server and joining the main EKV group, tryouts are hosted regulary.
