Port Howard also known as Puerto Mitre is the largest settlement on Gran Malvinas. Port Howard serves as the capital city of the Islas Malvinas where most forms of government and diplomacy take place. In 2013 the War in Islas Malvinas started launching the island into an 8 year-long conflict between Argentine guerillas ultimately ending with the Port Stanley Peace Accords dividing the islands into East and West.
