A Charon-class light frigate built during the height of The Insurrection, the UNSC Snake Eater is a support vessel stationed above Promise. Because of a faulty slipspace drive and malfunctioning communication equipment, she was left behind when her fleet relocated. Stranded and facing increasingly hostile insurrectionist action, the crew have chosen to remain with Promise and support the UNSC Garrison. The primary training center for UNSC forces on Promise.
