Throughout the current war of 2031, Edinburgh would be one of the worst hit cities in the entirety of the war. At the early stages evacuation attempts were made - to no avail. Scotland’s own military even brought down their own citizens, and pushed any non-Scottish personnel to the English border. Civilians who drove through the city commented on it, saying it was reminiscent to that of Chernobyl, albeit there was no hazardous radiation scattered around in fluctuating numbers.
