[Latest Update: Balance Changes] 2148, Corporations have successfully installed automated mining drills on the surface of Jaures, a newly discovered planet located in the Orion space sector. This planet is suspected to have large quantities of valuable resources for mankind while only being a host to alien flora. 2149, Recent readings on the automated instruments present on the planet have detected unusual activity on the areas nearby to the drills. Scientists suspect possible lifeforms that were unaccounted for on the initial scannings of the planet. It was decided that a team of mercenaries should be sent to protect the drills, you'll be forming part of this team in the first manned mission to Jaures.
