The Battle of the Mareth Line was carried out in 1943 and was first initial step into taking Tunisia. Allied forces consisting of British, New Zealand and Greek troops slowly advanced into the Mareth Line facing heavy resistance as they reach further and further into the heart of Tunisia. The battle saw many new technology being introduced to the front. Both the Allies and Axis fought hard to outmanoeuvre eachother in any way they can.
