Field Station "OCTAVIAN"

Situated in the sparsely populated south-eastern Alpine region of Switzerland, Field Station "OCTAVIAN" is a sizeable AETERMANKOMMANDO installation, serving as one of the organisation's principal facilities on the European continent as well as a major nerve centre for operations conducted in this area. Typically garrisoned by a battalion-strength complement of Auxiliary Service Command troops, the station is also a popular destination for various Service Groups, with its various facilities offering a prime location for exercises and the staging of both combat and non-combat operations. Alongside conventional ground forces, Field Station "OCTAVIAN" additionally plays host to elements of 1. Air Service Group, which provide much of the organisation's airmobile capability across Europe.
