M/V Centaur was a small but a fast liner which served people from Finland via Estonia to the UK. Centaur came to service year 1905. The 15.9 year 1916, a German torpedo hitted the Centaur, which made MV Centaur immediately sinking. The sinking lasted 15 minutes. Because the ship sunk so fast, only 2 lifeboats of 6 got launched during the sinking. Of the 500 passengers on the ship, only 200 survived the disaster.
