Universal Studios Dumbland is a Universal theme park in Northern California that opened on March 27, 2022, as part of Universal Dumbland Resort. Invited-only test operation started on May 8, 2021. The park would become the fifth Universal Studios-branded theme park in the world, the eighth Universal-built Park overall, and the third in the US, after Universal Studios Florida and Universal Studios Hollywood. The project was announced on September 2, 2019, with the plan to invest 3.3 billion DB's (US$1.4 billion) into the new theme park; a groundbreaking ceremony was held on February 4, 2021.
