Description (written by the developer; not a statement by this register)
A rural village in the middle of nowhere, USA. Once booming with big-box stores, Dirt Trail Village has declined. The only remaining store is WAL-MART, now serving all residents of the village and the surrounding countryside. The school is an essential part with the community, but with 79 students and 12 classrooms, class sizes average around 6 students. The village has no established local government, relying on the neighboring Long Trail Village (30 minute drive) for emergency services, and all government functions. Realistic abandoned facilities include: Circuit City Super JOX Foods Store (Former BIG Kmart) Ames Department Store Wendy's Currently Operating: Extremely Detailed School Complex WAL-MART Dirt Trail Mobile Home Park Deskstar Rentals Home & Vehicle Junner N' Dirt Recycling & Scrap Center Notes: Highly interactive environment for roleplaying with working fire alarms, doors, air conditioning systems, and more. A high-end device is REQUIRED with no exceptions.
