Dubai International Airport is the primary international airport serving Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and is the world's busiest airport by international passenger traffic as of 2024. Originally opened in 1960, Dubai International Airport (DXB) is scheduled to close in 2035. All operations, including those of home-based carriers Emirates and flydubai, will be relocated. Services will be transferred to Al Maktoum International Airport (DWC), located in Dubai World Central. IATA: DXB ICAO: OMDB Built by the New Zealand and Qantas Airlines development team, building a better NZQA.
