At the forefront of global research, Armed Research Area 1 lies on the Antarctic coast keeping world secrets at bay away from the general world population. The time is 1990 and the SCP Foundation has been established by a mysterious group of individuals, battling the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation and the United Nations in order to preserve human existence and to keep these anomalies away from those it would cause harm to.
