Brunswick House was built in 1887 originally as a German hut hung lodge and manor residence for German Empress Victoria, following her death the manor was passed on to her son Emperor Fredrick William, the manor is now frequented as a holiday residence for the German imperial family which due to its reason for being built is also used during hunting events.
