The once lush forest has been reduced to a charred landscape, with towering trees reduced to blackened stumps. Rivers of lava flow through the arena, their fiery glow illuminating the night sky. Ever-burning fires dot the landscape, casting flickering shadows across the ground. At any moment, a meteor shower could rain down from the sky, threatening to crush any tributes in their path. The ground beneath their feet is unstable, with earthquakes rumbling through the arena at random intervals. And if all that wasn't enough, a looming threat of a lava flood hangs over the tributes' heads, making each moment in the arena a fight for survival. Victor: lauracrane of District 1
