Description (written by the developer; not a statement by this register)
Each year, a boy and a girl aged between 12 and 18 are chosen from each of the twelve districts to serve as tributes. They are then transported to an outdoor arena where they must fight to the death. This brutal event is broadcasted nationwide and is compulsory viewing for all citizens. The tribute who emerges as the sole survivor is crowned the victor and allowed to return to their district to live a peaceful life, free from the fear of future games.
