PS Nomad 2001

The PS Nomad was a ship built for the SSC in the late 19th century. She wrecked and sank off the Coast of Canada on her Maiden Voyage. She had been on her way to Halifax, Canada, but due to some negligence she maintained full speed at all times and stayed near the rocky coast, this was a fatal mistake. She struck two reefs at midnight and sank in less than half an hour. Rescue boats arrived quickly after, as they had seen rockets flying from the wreckage. The wreck now lies mostly buried under the mud and collapsed on the sea floor.
