Rockwell County, Wisconsin, 2025. New United States of America. Rockwell County sits in the middle of Rural Wisconsin, home to country folk, farmers, retail workers, laborers, and factory workers alike. The area that is now Rockwell County was settled by frontiersmen in 1836, shortly after Wisconsin became a territory. It was originally part of the greater Metro City County but became its own entity as the area grew and settlers moved in. Early settlers contributed to the area's strong agricultural roots, particularly in dairy farming. The current county seat for Rockwell County is the town of North Point.
