The Henderson Mining Complex was opened in the late 1950s for a large uprise of gravel production in the United States before being closed a decade later. Now it stands for public entry for any residents in the Henderson County area. In July of 1973, A group of new age newcomers took residence temporarily inside an abandoned gravel mine.
