河北平原 Plains of Hebei Nestled between the Yan Mountains Range and the City of Baoding, is a small region characterized by large open plains, patches of dense woodland, and small settlements connected by an improvised network of dirt roads. These features offer a large training ground for the mechanized units of the People's Liberation Army of China.
