Welcome to the United States Military Academy! INFO Fort Jackson is a United States Army base located in Columbia, South Carolina. It is known to be one of the main basic training centers for Army recruits, with a specialization in soldier training. Founded in 1917, it has played a crucial role in preparing military personnel for both national and international missions.
