It's hard to pinpoint when Voxel Grass Baseplate '12 released, since it was introduced around the time Roblox was moving their template places to a dedicated account. Roblox's own Empty Baseplate was updated into voxel terrain in March '12, but the dedicated Templates place Flat Terrain wouldn't release until October that same year. Sometime April 2014, after the yearly egg hunt, Roblox replaced their old terrain textures with a set which was darker and more detailed, while still having a fantasy art style.
