Parie has been the center of a civil war for multiple years. Following the Great Destruction, the bustling empire of Octavia collapsed due to the treachery of its administration. In it's place, multiple factions rose up, claiming to be the true successor to the Octavian throne, and in the process, fighting for total control of the regions that encompass Octavia. Parie, being both the center of Octavia, and a once prosperous city, has become the epicenter of the conflict for multiple factions.
