It is a civilian airport built between the Gülyalı district of Ordu and the Piraziz district of Giresun. It was put into service on 22 May 2015. It is the first airport built on the sea in Turkey and Europe. It has the capacity to carry 3 million passengers per year. IATA: OGU IACO: LTCB
