Mars Stadium is a 11,000-capacity outdoor sports venue located in the Victorian regional city of Ballarat, in the suburb of Wendouree. Stage one of the venue's redevelopment was completed in late June 2017 at a cost of $15m. The ground was transformed with construction of a new 5,000-seat grandstand, 50 sq/m video scoreboard, new lighting, as well as the resurfacing & realignment of the playing surface, which is now the same dimensions as Marvel Stadium. The North Ballarat Sports Club is located at the ground which features tables overlooking the playing arena. copied from austadiums
