On June 3rd, 2009, a POTB logging train was operating between Banks and Tillamook in Oregon and then, Disaster Struck. Consist: POTB SD9 No. 6157 Boxcar Logging Car x11 POTB GP9 No. 101 Cause of accident: A severe storm that caused flooding and landslides along the POTB in Oregon. The storm occurred on June 2nd and 3rd, 2009 and dumped more than 10 inches of rain in some areas. The heavy rainfall triggered mudslides that washed out sections of the railroad track and damaged bridges. Aftermath: - POTB SD9 6157 was repaired, but scrapped in 2009 at the Tillamook Air Museum and one part of it was seen there in 2010 and 2012. - POTB GP9 101 returned to service and was passed onto the Oregon Coast Scenic Railroad. It is still operating there as of today. (Ficitonal)
