Airbase Malenkov is the primary military base occupied by the People's Republic of Svalbard's Aero forces, Army, and Navy to conduct operations in secluded lands in order to ensure that all troops are ready for immediate action if deemed necessary. Secondly, the Airbase double's as a Civilian Airport named the Spitsbergen People's Airport which is responsible for 80% of Civilian air travel to and from the People's Republic. Airbase Malenkov is located in a secluded area of Svalbard which holds a private vacation residence of the General Secretary, as well as Lake Lenin which allows the People's Navy to conduct operations as well as practice raids, and combat training within different terrains.
